THE TRUTH ABOUT HYPNOSIS
Hypnosis is the one most important tool to change the way your mind experiences your world.  If there ever was a magic wand, that could help you change anything about your life, your health, or your behavior, this might be it.  Good hypnotherapists know how to gently release blocks and fears, and create a new inner belief that will set the wheels in motion to make changes in the way you think, feel, and behave.

CAN ANYONE BE HYPNOTIZED?
YES!  In fact, hypnotizability is often a learned trait.  You can teach your body & mind to go into a state of heightened relaxation, and get better as you practice your “self” hypnosis.  Most people don’t think they are hypnotized after a session with a therapist.  Sometimes a twenty minute session can feel like only five minutes went by.  Sometimes the effects you experience can be subtle and sometimes they can be profound.  The important thing is to stay with it and stay focused so that you can accomplish the results you are seeking.

CAN YOU GET STUCK IN A TERMINAL HYPNOTIC TRANCE?
Some people believe that if they allow themselves to be hypnotized, they may never wake up or get stuck in a trance. Personally, I believe that many of us are in 'trance' every day of our lives.  We go on auto pilot for many of our daily chores.  That’s why we often go through stops signs while driving, or arrive at our destination without knowing how we got there, or realize in the middle of a conversation that we haven’t heard a thing about what the other person has been saying for the last few minutes.

The saddest part about being in daily trance is that we have about 90,000 thoughts each day and many of them are the same from day to day.  We repeat these same thoughts in our minds over and over again.  And sometimes, because we are in trance, we never notice how negative our thoughts have been and how they have been pointing our lives in a direction that is not benefiting us.  “My life/job sucks…Boy, is my memory failing me…I’m getting so old, gained so much weight, look terrible…Nobody loves me…I’ll never reach my goals…”

No, hypnosis will not get you stuck in a trance.  Quite ironically, hypnosis gets you out of your daily trance, allowing you to live fully and in the moment.

WHAT ARE SOME USES OF HYPNOSIS?
Hypnosis can be helpful for a myriad of concerns, from relief of stress, addictions, grief, weight loss, to emotional and spiritual well-being.


For me, the best use of hypnosis is to help you meet your “Highest Potential” in a manner that brings fulfillment not only to yourself but to others as well.  Too many of us have settled for a life of mediocrity simply because we don’t believe we can do better.  I think that’s sad.  We should all be experiencing abundant health, abundant wealth, and abundant bliss and love.  We should all be engaged in our life’s mission…whether it be to provide a solution to an environmental problem, or to publish a book, or create a health center… Whatever goal you set out to accomplish, if you truly have the desire and the belief that this can be part of your reality, then hypnosis can take you there.

Hypnosis is often defined as a relaxed, focus state of concentration. It is a state that the brain enters when it is open to suggestion. While in this state, changes, ideas, and suggestions are more likely to take root to bring about a desired change. 

Many people believe that during a hypnotic session, you must be deep in sleep or go into "trance" for hypnosis to work. This is simply not true. You may go in & out of all four levels of Brainwave Activity or you may not.
